Work with Schools
This year a Festival Anthem has been commissioned from Carrie Thompson, and will be taught to children in their schools by the Music Director Simon Pearce. The schools will come together for the opening concert of St Davids Cathedral Festival to perform the world premiere of this piece on Friday 27th May at 6pm.
Everyone is welcome, with parents and participating schools attending for free.

Masterclasses and Workshops for young musicians
World class musicians visiting the Festival kindly share their skill and knowledge with young musicians in a series of workshops and masterclasses running through the Festival. Any young musicians wishing to be part of the masterclass scheme should contact us here:
16-25: St Davids Cathedral Festival Key
The St Davids Cathedral Festival Key is a programme for young people interested in working in the creative arts and in music and aims to offer opportunities to engage with the Festival in meaningful ways.
If you are aged 16 – 25 years old you can sign up for free.
You will be able to access all early information for student tickets.
You will also receive early notice of work experience opportunities and training schemes.
